Lewis Hamilton has officially commenced his tenure with Scuderia Ferrari, marking a significant chapter in his illustrious Formula 1 career. On January 20, 2025, the seven-time world champion arrived at Ferrari's Maranello headquarters in Italy, expressing his long-held aspiration to race for the iconic team. 

Hamilton's first day involved a comprehensive immersion into Ferrari's operations. He participated in technical meetings, met with key team members, and familiarized himself with the facilities. A highlight was his photo session with the classic Ferrari F40, underscoring his enthusiasm for the brand's rich heritage. 

Expressing his excitement, Hamilton stated, "There are some days that you know you'll remember forever and today, my first as a Scuderia Ferrari driver, is one of those days." He added, "I'm incredibly grateful to John Elkann, Benedetto Vigna, Fréd Vasseur and everyone at Ferrari for their trust in me and making me part of this ... ." 

The transition to Ferrari follows Hamilton's 12-year tenure with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, during which he secured six of his seven world titles. His move to Ferrari has been met with widespread anticipation, as both the driver and team aim to achieve new milestones together.
