We spoke with two Gen Zers, interior design student Emma and eco-conscious blogger James, to gain some insight into what this generation is looking for when it comes to decorating their spaces.

Emma, 21, has a love for bold and playful design. “I like to experiment with bold colors and patterns in my designs,” she tells us. “I’m all about making a statement and creating a space that feels personal and unique.”

According to Emma and James, it’s all about creating a space that reflects your personality and values. “I think Gen Zers are really focused on creating a space that feels authentic and true to who they are,” says Emma. “We’re not afraid to take risks and try new things.”

James agrees, and says that personalization is key. “We’re all about creating a space that’s unique to us,” he says. “From upcycling old furniture to incorporating sentimental objects, it’s all about making a space that feels like home.”
